Nassau Coliseum won’t only be the host of the final Islanders (we hope playoff) games, but will also be the site of some serious craft beer indulging with the ninth annual Spring Craft Beer Festival this Saturday March 21.
Beer lovers have the choice of two different sessions, the first from 12:30 to 4 p.m. and the second from 5:30 to 9 p.m. in which to sample more than 100 different brews from more than 50 craft brewers. Each session costs $55 per ticket and designated drivers get in for $12.
Among the long list of participating brewers, several independent beer makers from around the country join the usual national suspects and, of course, this being Long Island, just about all your local favorites will be represented including Blue Point, Long Ireland, Great South Bay, Port Jeff, Spider Bite, Fire Island, Oyster Bay, Southampton Publick House, Crooked Ladder, and probably a few more we missed.
