Blue Point Brewing Company, which is actually located in Patchogue, has undergone a lot of changes in the past year—most notably being purchased by Anheuser-Busch. Now, their tasting room is getting a facelift.
After being closed for over two weeks, the Blue Point tasting room just reopened with an updated look and some much needed additional space. Patrons now have a window looking into the brewery, a front and back entrance to the tasting room and the ability to move around a bit more freely when the place gets crowded.
Temporarily gone are some of the decorations that gave Blue Point its “vibe,” but don’t be alarmed—we have been assured they will be back. Their signature mosaic bar top is still the focal point of the tasting room and a welcome familiar site.
New on the beer front is Armchair Stout, a 4.4% ABV American Stout that is served from a nitro tap. Creamy, flavorful and just in time for St. Patrick’s Day.
Though they are still putting the finishing touches on the tasting room, normal hours have resumed: Thursday & Friday 3-7 p.m. and Saturday 12-7 p.m.
