Reggae Band Oogee Wawa to Say Goodbye to Summer with Free Concert

Nothing soothes the sorrow that comes with the end of summer quite like an evening with Long Island's own alternative reggae sensation, Oogee Wawa. Since 2010 the band has been blissfully sharing their unique sound all across the island, and recently have been rocking across the nation on an exciting tour. Now back in New York, the band will be headlining The Paramount's 'Bitchin' Summer Concert Party' presented by 94.3 THE SHARK on Saturday, September 26 along with special guests The Offshore Regulars & NonStop to Cairo. This show is sure to be the perfect summer sendoff.

Tickets to the concert are actually not required as this is a free event! Doors open at The Paramount in Huntington at 7pm, and the concert commences at 8pm. With Blue Point Brewing Company sponsoring the event, guests can rest assured that the drink specials will be nothing but the best, and sure to please. Should you find yourself not quite ready to give up your summer attire there will be free prizes for ladies donning bikinis – and the same goes for guys wearing Hawaiian shirts.

Oogee Wawa has quickly attained a solid fan base who loyally attend the band's Long Island shows. As the band grew in popularity they had the opportunity to open for The Dirty Heads, 311, Slighty Stoopid, and Sublime with Rome...just to name a few. With their positive energy and great sound Oogee Wawa has gained both success and popularity in the music world and are happy to share the good vibes from the east coast, to the west coast, and to the island of St. John to finish off their tour.
