Westhampton Beach Performing Arts Center Announces Strong Summer Lineup

The Westhampton Beach Performing Arts Center, located on Main Street in Westhampton Beach has announced a solid slate of performances for the summer 2015 season. The venue is featuring something for everyone, and of course some big names. Let's take a peek. 

The B52s

The world's greatest party band, the B52s, will kick-off the summer season at the performing arts center by taking the stage on Saturday May 23 at 8 p.m. Get ready to sing and dance along to classics including "Rock Lobster," "Love Shack" and "Roam." Tickets start at $125.

Dickey Betts and Great Southern

Get ready to jam out to some great Southern rock when Grammy Award-winner and Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Dickey Betts and Great Southern take the stage on May 30 at 8 p.m. They will be performing hits including, "Blue Sky," "Ramblin' Man," and "Southbound." Tickets start at $85.

Michael McDonald

On June 6 at 8 p.m., blue-eyed soul icon and five-time Grammy-award winner Michael McDonald will perform. Ticket holders will be singing along to favorites including, "I Keep Forgettin'," and "Aint' No Mountain High Enough." 

David Bromberg Quintet

The Renowned "guitar man of the stars," David Bromberg Quintet will provide a high-octane multi-instrumental show on June 13 at 8 p.m. 

Duncan Sheik

On June 19, at 8 p.m. folk-pop luminary and composer Duncan Sheik will perform. He is best known for his smash-hit "Barely Breathing," which spent 55 weeks on the Billboard Hot Chart. 

David Crosby

Folk-rock renegade David Crosby will take the stage July 3 at 8 p.m., performing some of his most revered hits, including "Turn!Turn! Turn" and "Our House." 

The Wailers

Reggae originators, the Wailers will perform classic hits like "I shot the Sheriff," "Get Up, Stand Up," and "Buffalo Soldier," when they take the stage on July 12 at 8 p.m.

Wynona & Big Noise

Chart-topping country storyteller Wynona will take the stage on July 19 at 8 p.m. She will be performing top hits backed by her full band. 

Indigo Girls

The dynamic folk-tinged pop Indigo Girls, will perform on July 25 at 8 p.m. They will be sure to get the audience moving with hits like "Closer to Fine," "Galileo," and "Power of Two." 

Steve Gyrell

Grammy-Award winning vocalist Steve Tyrell is set to perform on Aug. 2 at 8 p.m. He is best known for his performance of "The Way You Look Tonight." 

George Benson

On Aug. 15 at 8 p.m. jazz and R&B icon George Benson will perform. He is recognized as one of the most remarkably versatile and inventive guitarists in jazz history. 

Bernadette Peters

Broadway star Bernadette Peters will round out the season with a performance on Sept. 8 at 8 p.m. She has multiple Grammy, Golden Glob and Drama Desk awards. She was most recently seen on Broadway in A Little Night Music and is currently appearing in Amazon Prime's hit series, Mozart in the Jungle.
