It may be snowy outside, but the North Fork will soon be heating up! This week, the Suffolk Theater will kick off the 8th Annual Winterfest - Live on the Vine, which will run for six consecutive weeks and feature 119 performers at 20 venues across the North Fork.

The kick-off event will take place on Feb. 6 at the Suffolk Theater in Riverhead with Randy Jackson of Zebra, the Kerry Kearney Band and Jack's Waterfall with special guest Pandafan. Tickets are $25 in advance and $30 at the door. 

The award-winning Winterfest, which is sponsored by the East End Arts Council and the Suffolk County Convention & Visitors Bureau, will then get underway the week of Feb. 20 with a full lineup and run through March 29.
