The winter may be half over, but there is still plenty of time to catch great live theater performances this season. The East End has more than a few theaters presenting some great shows to see with friends, a date or with family.
North Fork Community Theater

The North Fork Community Theater will perform Over the River and Through the Woods March 13-29. The show, written by Joe DiPietro, is about a single, Italian-American guy from New Jersey who receives news about a great career offer in the west coast.
The Suffolk Theater

The Suffolk Theater will present The Ring of Fire, the Musical on Saturday, Feb. 27 and Sunday, Feb. 28. The show celebrates the original "Ring of Fire" Broadway musical, through a recreation for the Suffolk Theater by Frank Canino. The show features off of Johnny Cash's greatest hits. Tickets are $49 and the show starts at 8:00 p.m. on both nights.
Westhampton Beach Performing Arts Center

The Westhampton Beach Performing Arts Center will open the curtain on a performance of The Ugly Duckling and the Tortoise and the Hare on March 20 at 10:00 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. The performance will thrill the littlest ones to adults with its music and lights. Tickets are $10 each.
Hampton Theatre Company

The Hampton Theatre Company will present Clybourne Park by Bruce Norris from March 12 to March 29. The show takes on the taboo subject of race in the 1950s. Tickets are $25 each and dinner and show packages are available.
