The intimate theater at the YMCA Boulton Center in Bay Shore will be the place to be for classic rock fans, especially lovers of Simon & Garfunkel. On December 5, Aztec Two Step, themselves widely acclaimed musicians with decades on the road, will perform a special show of their interpretations of Simon & Garfunkel tunes. The concert promises to be part music and part storytelling with just some good old stage banter at times. The night also pays homage to legendary DJ and rock historian Pete Fornatale who literally wrote the book on Simon & Garfunkel and also developed the script by which his friend and protégé Tony Traguardo will narrate the evening. Traguardo, who is the archivist for the Long Island Music Hall of Fame, will host the show in a way that would make Fornatale proud. And with Aztec Two Step bringing the sounds and harmonies, it’s a can’t miss evening with old friends.
