5 Can't Miss February Hamptons Events

If you are looking for something special to do this month with friends and family, here are 5 great events in the Hamptons from a benefit to several theater productions.

The Wizard of Oz

On Feb. 6 at 7:00 p.m Southampton High School, located at 141 Narrow Lane in Southampton, will present "The Wizard of Oz" in the high school auditorium. Additional performances take place on Feb. 7 at 2:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. Admission is free. 

Bowl Bash

The Hurricane's LAX team is holding a fundraiser on Feb. 6 at Wildwood Bowl, located at 3951 Lake Avenue in Riverhead from 6:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. The event includes bowling, a DJ, prizes and raffles. All proceeds benefit the boys and girls JH and JV WesthamptonBeach Varsity Lacrosse teams. Tickets are $40 per person. 

Manors of Long Island

The Rogers Memorial Library, located at 91 Coopers Farm Road in Southampton, will present the film, "The Manors of Long Island," on Feb. 19 at 3:00 p.m the film is directed by Dr. Gaynell Stone. The showing is free, however seating is limited. RSVP by calling (631) 283-0774 x523.

Ballet Benefit

The NYTB at New York Live Arts will host a benefit celebration at the New York Live Arts & I Trulli restaurant, located at 219 W. 19th Street in East Hampton on Feb. 21 at 4:40 p.m. The event will honor Elena Zahlmann and Steven Melendez. Tickets are $200 each and include a benefit ticket, as well as a ticket to any NYLA performance.

See Colin Quinn perform at the Westhampton Beach Performing Arts Center, located at 76 Main Street in Westhampton Beach on Feb. 28 at 8:00 p.m. Tickets range between $50 and $75.
