East End Winter Music Calendar

If you are looking to get out of the house and enjoy some great jams this winter, you will be happy to know that there are more than a few venues on the East End that are featuring some exciting musical acts in the coming weeks. Let's take a look.

Suffolk Theater

Ani Difranco

Jan. 24 at 8:00 p.m. Tickets are $45, $60 and $65

Difranco is a guitarist and multi-instrumentalist who is known for her clever lyrics and outstanding guitar riffs.  

Melanie Safka

Jan. 30 at 8:00. Tickets are $30 at the door.

Melanie attracted national attention when performing at Woodstock.

That 70s Band

Jan. 31 at 8:00 p.m. Tickets are $30

That 70s Band is well known across the East End.

Edgar Winter

Feb. 7 at 8:00 p.m. Tickets are $50

"Come on and Take a Free Ride" with Edgar Winter, one of the most influential keyboard rockers of the past 50 years. 

Smithereens

Feb. 21 at 8:00 p.m. Tickets are $49

The Smithereens made rock history with hits such as "Blood and Roses" and "a Girl Like You."

Scars on 45

Feb. 6 at 8:00 p.m. Tickets are $25.

Scars on 45 is a British indie rock quartet that earned critical acclaim as FH!s "You Oughta Know Artist."

Jay and the Americans

Feb. 15 at 8:00 p.m. Tickets are $75, $60 and $45.

Jay and the Americans are known as one of the all-time great doo-wop groups of the 60s and 70s

George Winston

March 29 at 8:00 p.m. Tickets are $50, $35 and $20

George Winston is a Grammy-Award winning pianist, whose concerts feature a variety of styles, including melodic folk, Hawaiian slack key and New Orleans R&B.

Beatles vs the Rolling Stones Event

Feb. 7 at 8:00 p.m. Tickets are $25

The event will feature two rotating bands performing the best of the Beatles and the Rolling Stones. 

Bob Dylan & The Band: A Tribute

March 21 at 8:00 p.m. Tickets are $25

This performance will feature the Compleate Unknowns, HooDoo Loungers and special guests.

Nancy Atlas

March 7 at 8:00 p.m. Tickets are $15.

Nancy Atlas walks the line between swaggering rock chick and thread bare poet, garnering her a legion of die hard fans and in house respect.

The Last Hombres

March 13 at 10:00 p.m. Tickets are $10

This band features five musicians on a musical journey with no set destination.

Strecker Band

March 14 at 10:00 p.m. Tickets are $10

Stephen Strecker is a man of many interests and talents. He is not only the lead vocalist in the Strecker Band, but is is also the Chief Amusement park ride operator at Adventureland theme park in Farmingdale.
