New Beer Mile World Record: 4:57. Your Turn.

That's it, it's been done. A beer mile in under 5 minutes.

So your first question is probably the same as mine. What the *(&! is a beer mile?!

The rules for a beer mile are simple. Drink a beer, run a lap. Repeat three more times. The beer must be a 12-ounce can that is at least 5% ABV (no Coors Light cheater), and no vomiting is allowed.

Now, having run plenty of miles myself, I know how hard it is to run a 5-minute mile alone, but I've never tried chugging beers between laps. And while this is a fun little stunt, it's also extremely impressive, especially as he makes it look so effortless.
