Don't Break Into a Carny's House

“I’ve an idea,” he said to his friend. “I’m gonna’ bust into a house and rob it.” But picking the home you want to burglarize apparently requires a modicum of research.

Witness, 22-year-old Robert Uolla, who broke into Robyn Irvine’s house in Hemet, CA on November 5, 2013. Unfortunately for Mr. Uolla and his genius partner in crime, Ms. Irvine, who was asleep during the initial break-in, is an axe-throwing competitor.

“I couldn’t catch him when he ran,” she said, noting that she could have thrown her axe - which she keeps handy by her bed - and split his spine. This isn’t the first attempted robbery at her house, but next time, “If you’re in my house, you’re not walking out,” she said.
