Waterfront Dining in the Hamptons

I suppose it goes without saying that if an article is going to be written about waterfront restaurants near the Atlantic, then fresh seafood will be on every menu! All the great places to eat in the Hamptons are set on the water’s edge. Some have live music and some cater to kids, while others offer dockage, lodging, late-night lounges, and even wedding venues. One thing is for sure, they all have beautiful views!

East Hampton


The nautical-themed Boathouse, with its contemporary decor, offers breathtaking views of Three Mile Harbor. It has indoor and outdoor bars, outdoor-deck dining, take-out service for boats, and a late-night lounge with live music and DJs. East Hampton Point

This two-level, 4,000-square-foot restaurant overlooks Three Mile Harbor and serves contemporary American cuisine, fresh seafood, and has a raw bar. This oceanfront bar and grill just needs a steel drum player to make you feel like you’re in the Islands, “mon.” The Lagoon is kid-friendly and is open seven days serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Lenny’s on the Dock

Navy Beach

With a private beach and easy anchoring, patrons have a choice of indoor or outdoor dining for lunch or dinner, seven days. Their “Coastal Cuisine” menu is enticing, with dishes such a Yunnan Ribs with black vinegar, chili, and caramel; or Oil-Poached Cobia with rock shrimp hash, cucumber sambal, and sweet soy glaze. Sea Grille and Caffe Monte at Gurney’s Inn

The oceanfront Gurney’s Inn and Resort is a perfect venue for spa getaways, as well as weddings. Its two ocean-view dining venues focus on using local fish, farm produce, and Long Island wines, and are open year-round for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. There is an all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet with hot waffles and an omelet station every day during the season! Second House Tavern

Located on “Ruschmeyer’s Estate,” the lakefront Tavern offers a combo of seafood and American fare.
